Laura MIHAILĂ MSc student (second year) at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of chemical engineering and environmental protection, Environmental management and sustainable energy engineering specialization.

Iulian-Alin ROSU MSc student (second year) at the Faculty of Physics of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi and associate researcher of Department of Physics, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi. He has competences in the following research fields: advanced lidar applications, atmospheric physics, PBL dynamics, WRF simulation, Python scripting. He authored 2 ISI indexed papers (h index 3), 2 articles in BDI journals and 12 presentations at national and international conferences. Diana Petronela BURDUHOS NERGIȘ Engineer, Ph.D. student & researcher at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, is an innovative young scientist at Science and Materials Faculty with high interest in a variety of research topics, starting from advanced materials obtaining and up to selective corrosion evaluation studies, recognized research project management skills (project member for TUIASI-COMPETE) and international visibility quantified in 6 research articles published in ISI WOS indexed/ranked Journals, (h index 1); https://publons.com/researcher/3160286;

Florin UNGA PostDoc Researcher, obtained his Ph.D degree in December 2017 at University of Lille 1, within the framework of the multidisciplinary project “Chemical and Physical Properties of the Atmosphere" (CaPPA Labex) with the thesis called “Optical, microphysical and chemical properties of atmospherically processed aerosols in desert and urban environments: an integrated approach using individual particle analysis, remote sensing and numerical simulations”. Experience on individual particle analysis using analytical electron microscopy (SEM/EDX, TEM/EDX) on atmospheric particles collected using cascade impaction techniques. Georgiana BULAI Scientific researcher at Environmental Science Integrated Research Center for the North-Eastern Development Region [CERNESIM], “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi (1.03.2016 - present) and a member of Atmosphere Optics, Spectroscopy and Lasers Laboratory (LOA-SL). She has competences in the following research fields: ferromagnetic materials, thin film deposition by laser ablation, structural, chemical and magnetic analysis of the samples deposited by PLD, optical, electrical and spectral diagnosis of the laser induced plasma, study of polymer-magnetic material based systems; She participated as an active member in 7 research projects and as director in internal grant. She authored and co-authored 28 ISI indexed papers (h index 8), one book chapter, 1 article in non-ISI journal and over 50 presentations at national and international conferences; https://publons.com/researcher/1421741;

Adrian TIMOFTE Senior forecaster at National Meteorological Administration, Regional Forecasting Centre (RFC)- Bacău, Romania. Associate Researcher at the Atmosphere Optics, Spectroscopy and Lasers Laboratory, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Physics (2007 - 2018). His research interest involves remote sensing techniques using analysis of optical emission spectra and Raman spectra, identification of atmospheric compounds and analysis of their dynamics, member in 7 research projects. He has attended more than 30 international and national conferences and published 37 works in scientific publication, 20 being ISI, (h index: 8), 1 book and 3 chapters in 2 books; https://publons.com/researcher/2519972;

Livio BELEGANTE Physicist and one of the key people of the Remote Sensing Department in INOE, being responsible for the Bucharest site in the frame of ACTRIS and ACTRIS-RO (http://actris.ro/index.php/access-la-infrastructura/) offering transnational access to the available infrastructure and being responsible for knowledge transfer from the experimental point of view (http://www.actris.net/). Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure (ACTRIS) is a pan-European distributed research infrastructure with the mission to provide information and knowledge on short-lived atmospheric constituents, which have a direct impact on climate and air quality; Fundamental activities: optical and microphysical properties of aerosols, light scattering on aerosols and molecules; Data processing: linear regression, multi fractal analysis, lidar signal processing and analysis → 43 ISI papers (330 citations) → h index: 11; https://publons.com/researcher/2752595;

Nicanor CIMPOEŞU Professor dr. habil., at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, with experience in microstructural analyses (OM, SEM, AFM) applied in different research topics, starting from nano to macro scale, recognized research project management skills (project manager for PN-II-RU-PD-2011-3-082, PN-III-P2-2.1-CI-2017- 0539 and PNII-PT-PCCA-2013-4-0191 and TUIASI-GI-2018 -1420, and member in other 20 research grants) and international visibility quantified in h-index: 14 from more than 53 original and review papers → author of 10 books in technical field and reviewer for important scientific journals.→ 2 granted patents and 2 awards received in international invention.→ ~ 6000 hours experience in electronic microscopy SEM/EDAX, [h index 15]; https://publons.com/researcher/2454267;

Doina NICOLAE  Senior reseacher PhD, Head of the Remote Sensing Department at INOE. She is PI of EARLINET, ACTRIS and AERONET Bucharest station, member of the ICLAS and EARLINET management committee, expert evaluator for FP7, and an expert to ISO and COST actions, (co)author for 4 books/book chapters, 59 ISI papers (643 citations). She is also involved in coordination of numerous national and international research projects (FP7-REGPOT-2008-1, ESA-NATALI, ESA-MULTIPLY, HORIZON2020-ECARS); ESA-STAR (CARESSE, CAPESA, DARLIOES). Main achievements: include the development of an atmospheric research super site and its integration into relevant European and global networks (EARLINET, AERONET, MWRNET, ACTRIS, GALION), as well as the setup of the Romanian Atmospheric 3D research Observatory (RADO). Marius Mihai CAZACU - NanoAir project manager - Lecturer, at the Department of Physics, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. Researcher at the Atmosphere Optics, Spectroscopy and Lasers Laboratory, Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Physics (2007 - 2018). In June 2011 obtained his Ph. D with the thesis title: "Contributions to the implementation of the first national LIDAR network for atmospheric aerosols optical characterization". As a postdoctoral researcher was focused on: atmospheric aerosols optical 3D characterization, meteorological factors, air pollution and health. His research interest involves remote sensing techniques for environmental monitoring [e.g. LIDAR, AERONET], optical atmosphere, spectroscopy and lasers. He has been team member for 10 research projects. He participated at over 150 international and national conferences and published 60 works in scientific publications, 40 being ISI indexed [h index: 9], https://publons.com/a/1374427
